ISOTILES
Isotiles® come in just two shapes, both of which are isosceles triangles. For both the relationship of the longer side to the shorter is phi, the Golden Ratio. The dimensions of the Isotiles are (approximately) 5 cm and 8 cm, with a thickness of 3 mm. A 65 page Work Book covering all the 20 or so geometry topics is also supplied on a CD. Sets include an equal number of the gold and blue colours, with 10 acute and 10 obtuse tiles in a box. The Classroom and Home Use packs are made in opaque moulded plastic, to standards that make them safe for use with children over the age of three.

Isotiles will be supplied in four configurations:
  •   Classroom Pack: 10 boxes and 1 Work Book CD
  •   Home Use Pack: 2 boxes and 1 Work Book CD
  •   OHP Pack: 1 box of translucent Isotiles
  •   Teacher Pack: 10 of both shapes in a much larger size, magnetised for use on a metal whiteboard
NOTE: Extra Work Book CDs may also be bought.
Isotiles have been trialled in five schools in England and two in Scotland, with pupils aged from 9 to 16. They have been presented to the public for the first time at the Education Show, and their reception has confirmed the glowing reports received from the trialling schools. Arrangements for their distribution are overleaf.
