regular octagon

Octagons

THINGS TO DO

You should have two acute and four obtuse Isotiles.

On the left is a regular octagon: eight equal sides and eight equal angles.

Can you put all six Isotiles together, so that you also make an octagon? You will find it easy if you think back to your previous heptagon made with Isotiles. Just add one more obtuse Isotile in the right place and you have an octagon.

Work out the sum of all eight angles of this shape, by adding together all the angles of the Isotiles.
