Rhombuses

THINGS TO DO

You should have two obtuse Isotiles.

Arrange these two Isotiles to make a rhombus.

In the new shape you have made, you should be able to see that all four sides are equal and that the opposite sides are parallel. What is the value of the opposite corner angles.

Add up all the angles so that you know their sum. Is this the same answer as you got for the trapezium and the parallelogram? Can you think of a good reason why this is the value for all quadrilaterals, regardless of the shape the four sides make.
