Sum of angles of polygons

THINGS TO DO

Copy this table so that you can complete it yourself. It shows for 8 polygons how many sides, the name of the shape, how many Isotiles it takes to make the shape, and the sum of the angles.

You should fill in the boxes which are blank.

Always put the least number of Isotiles it takes to make a particular shape, which is why we have shown 8 for a decagon (although you need 10 to make a regular one). Make each shape to check you have the right value.

Now see if you can express the sum of the angles of any polygon as a formula with the number of sides as the variable.
